I edited the Mission.hpk file from the demo so you can go beyond the casa level. Cool Infact, you edit alot of stuff in there (mission variable, restriction, events). It is in plain English lua.

max_house_level= 1 change to 3 I built Villa.

Infact, I can edit the Data.hpk to change all building cost, how many slaves you get ( I liked the older method of slaves, this has been toned down way too much). Chance for riots, how many get sick if a plague strikes (and make slaves die just like citizens [as now I never bother building Herbalist]). I thought the number of slaves was way too much ( I had to try real hard to get them riot and they seem to always go for your Forum, just the same as citizen riots, kind of a bummer).

The point of it is to make the game more of a challenge. Plus editing the scenarios gives somewhat new challenges. In fact, I was able to change an iron mine into a stone mine deposit, and even change the location on the map. Yes, you can edit the map terrain tiles, the are listed as x,y, z and what it is, orentation.

Well, for a starter...can I release the modified demo mission.hpk so peeps can build up to higher level villa and open the restriction so they can build all on the map sort of like a full sandbox scenario? I do not want to get into trouble. I figure the full game is out today so what the heck. Very Happy

It's been a long time with no answer. Could you please tell us what program you used to unpack the files that are in the hpk files please.

Thank you,

I just don't see how you could build the Forum or the Colosseum, except on the flat land that you think is farm land (it may have begun as farmland, but I assume that in time Roma would be able to import all of the food it needs and could convert those farms into public buildings). On your map, the Circus Maximus, Colosseum, and Forum would all be on steep hills instead of valleys, and the Aventine would be flat farmland. I see your Janiculum as the Palatine, with the Capitoline right next to it.
